Big Sky & Shoreline

Lake water, river current, and a campfire on the shore.

Open water. Big sky. A fire crackling ten feet from the shore.

Founding SeasonFounding Season — join the list

Canyon Lake in April is the sweet spot: warm days, cool nights, and water that actually invites you in. Mornings start with coffee over the lake, middays are for swimming and the Guadalupe River, and nights end with a shoreline campfire under a sky that doesn't quit. Small enough group that you'll know everyone's name by Saturday. Bring sunscreen and an appetite for doing nothing fast.

Founding Season. Apr 16–18, 2027 is a sample weekend shown while we lock real dates — holding spots is free and never promises a confirmed seat yet.

THE WATERLINE SANCTUARY — secluded bodywork, not spa day

A private treatment space in canvas and natural materials — soft natural light, privacy screens, fresh air, trees and water nearby, natural sounds. At this weekend it's a secluded private 3/4 tent near the water — quiet, natural, intimate without being sexual, premium without pretentious — for optional massage or Reiki sessions. Vetted local practitioners, scheduled and pre-booked, consent-based, purely relaxation and wellness (never medical), limited availability. Not available yet — note your interest when you book and we hold a slot in mind for you.

This weekend's questions

Good to know

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

No. The lake swim is guided, life jackets are provided, and wading counts. The Guadalupe afternoon is mostly floating and sitting in camp chairs with your feet wet.

What should I pack for the lake?

Swimsuit, sandals that strap on, sunscreen, a hat, and layers for cool evenings. We bring the towels, tubes, camp chairs, and river gear.

Can I come solo?

That's the default setting here. GTFO weekends are built for arriving alone — sixteen humans max, and you'll know everyone's name by Saturday lunch.
