F%CK it.
I'm leaving.

Rugged weekend escapes in the Texas Hill Country — real cabins, campfires, swimming holes, and silence. For when you need a damn break and you need it now.

You shouldn't have to be rich to be allowed to feel exhausted.

From $349 all-in · lodging, meals, everything. No payment due today.

For burned-out adults 18+ — nurses, teachers, line cooks, new parents, anyone running on fumes. You don't need to be outdoorsy. You just need to be tired. If you're old enough to decide you need to get the F%CK out, you're old enough to come.

Why GTFO is different

Get away from everything for a minute.

No spa music. No sunrise bootcamp. No guru trying to fix you. The whole program is: swim, sit by the fire, sleep hard.

01 · Real, not precious

Shared cabins with real beds, brisket and tacos from local cooks, coffee that never runs out. Rough around the edges, on purpose.

02 · Cheap on purpose

Less than a month of takeout — because burnout doesn't check your bank account, and rest shouldn't be a luxury good. We don't just take you somewhere. We connect you with the place (and the peace).

03 · Quiet is the activity

Loose schedule, spotty signal by design. Hike, float, read, nap. The porch is a full itinerary.

Cost, straight up

From $349 all-in. That's the whole point.

$349+

per person, all-in for the weekend

  • · 2 nights in a real bed (shared cabin, linens included)
  • · Every meal Friday dinner → Sunday lunch
  • · Hikes, swims, campfires, live pickin' — all of it
  • · Coffee that never runs out. Seriously.
"You shouldn't have to be rich to be allowed to feel exhausted."

A real reset shouldn't require a luxury budget. An hour or two from Austin and San Antonio, carpool board included — get out of town Friday fried, roll home Sunday rested.

Coming alone?

Good. That's how it's built.

You do not need to bring anyone. Just show up solo — meeting people around the fire Friday night is the whole point. No partner, no crew, no awkward third wheel. Strangers Friday, group-text Sunday.

Coming with Founding Season retreats

THE WATERLINE SANCTUARY — secluded bodywork, not spa day.

A private treatment space in canvas and natural materials — soft natural light, privacy screens, fresh air, trees and water nearby, natural sounds. Optional massage and Reiki from vetted local practitioners — pre-booked, consent-based, purely relaxation (never medical), with limited availability. At water sites it's a secluded private 3/4 tent near the water; out in Terlingua it's the dark-sky version of the same privacy idea. Not available yet — reserve your interest when you book and we'll save you a slot.

How it works

Friday fried → Sunday human.

  1. Mile 01 · Pick a weekend

Hold your spots free — no payment today. Payment comes later via a secure link.

  2. Mile 02 · Get yourself there

An hour or two from town, ride board to split gas. Claim a bunk, meet your cabinmates.

  3. Mile 03 · Do nothing, well

Float, hike, eat, stare at the fire. Head home smelling like cedar smoke.

Quick answers

Asked around the fire

Who is this for?

Burned-out adults 18+ — nurses, teachers, line cooks, new parents, anyone running on fumes. You don't need to be outdoorsy, into wellness, or spiritual. You don't need to be rich. You just need to be tired. If you're old enough to decide you need to get the F%CK out, you're old enough to come.

Do I need to bring someone, or can I come alone?

Come alone — that's how GTFO weekends are built. No plus-one needed, no crew required. Shared cabins and campfire dinners do the rest: you'll know your cabinmates by Friday dinner. Arriving solo is the design, not a concession.

What should I expect on a GTFO weekend?

A loose schedule on purpose: a morning hike or walk, an afternoon swim or float, evenings around the campfire with real food from local cooks. Days run roughly Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Swim, sit by the fire, sleep hard — the porch is a full itinerary.

What does the price include?

Weekends start at $349 all-in: 2 nights in a real bed (shared cabin or bunkhouse, linens included), every meal Friday dinner through Sunday lunch catered by local cooks — menu subject to change — plus all guided hikes, swims, campfires, and live music. No payment is due today; payment comes later via a secure link.

What should I bring?

Layers, boots or sturdy shoes, a swimsuit, a headlamp, and whatever you read. We send a packing list before every retreat. Bedding, towels, food, and river gear are on us.
